The Road Trip

  • Day 1 – Get picked up from Santiago Airport, drive to the Rio Teno and relax at the campsite with a cold beer.
  • Day 2 – warm up to Chilean paddling with a couple of runs on the Rio Teno. Drive to the Rio Claro.
  • Day 3 – Wake up next to the Rio Claro and paddle the famous waterfalls of the Siete Tazas (Seven Teacups). Drive to the Rio Nuble
  • Day 4 – Paddle the beautiful boulder gardens of the Rio Nuble.
  • Day 5  – Drive to the Rio Truful Truful or the Rio Laja – a choice between a chilled out paddle on a crystal clear azur ribbon, or a non-stop 20 minute adrenaline ride where all you can see is white! Drive to Pucon.
  • Day 6 – Paddle the local big volume rafting run, the Rio Trancura.
  • Day 7 – Paddle the famous Palguin Waterfalls and do as many laps as you want, it’s only a ten minute walk back up to the top!
  • Day 8 – Paddle the Rio Maichin, a spectacular canyon run a couple of hours from Pucon. Unwind in the evening at one of Pucons’ many great hotsprings.
  • Day 9 – Paddle the Rio Llancahue, tight, technical creek that starts with a sweet twenty footer! Drive to the Rio Fuy.
  • Day 10 – Paddle the spectacular slides and clean waterfalls of the Rio Fuy.
  • Day 11 – Drive to the Rio Gol Gol and test your nerve on the exhilirating higher volume waterfalls of one of Chiles’ classic rivers. Drive to Puerto Monte for the freshest seafood dinner in Chile.
  • Day 12 – Catch a flight from Puerto Monte back to Santiago and then fly home!
