21.03.2026 - 22.03.2026

Afon Tryweryn, North Wales

This is a two-day Safety & Rescue course, that will equip you with the skills to look after yourself and your friends on white water - rivers up to grade 2 (3)

This is a very hands-on, practical course, with lots of time spent on the water, in boats and on the river bank, and a fair bit of time spent in the water as well!

This course is for kayakers, canoeists and paddleboarders. If you would like a course that is focussed specifically on your chosen craft, please let us know.

As this is a BCAB certified award, the full skills checklist and course programme for this course can be found here: https://britishcanoeingawarding.org.uk/safety-sheltered-water-resources/
