We believe that Leadership training should be about sharing knowledge and experience, and building on those foundations, to encourage an ethos of continous learning and development throughout your paddling career.
Our highly experienced coaches can help you develop your Paddleboard leadership skills in a range of different environments.
We offer Bespoke One Day and Two Day Leadership Training Courses, for Sheltered Water, Inland Open Water and Touring Leader environments (Inland Open Water and Grade 2 Rivers).
If you would prefer to attend a formal, two day British Canoeing Awarding Body Leadership Training Course, we do of course deliver plenty of those as well!
Sheltered Water SUP Leader
This is a great award for those wanting to lead groups of beginners or inexperienced SUP paddlers.
This award will allow you to lead groups of up to 8 SUP paddlers on journeys on lakes, coastal bays, harbours and slow moving rivers and estuaries.
SUP Inland Open Water Leader
This award is great for those wanting to lead intermediate SUP paddlers on more challenging journeys on Open Water.
This award will allow you to lead groups of up to 6 SUP paddlers on journeys on lakes or lochs, up to 500m from shore and in force 4 winds.
Paddlesport Touring Leader
This is a great award for those wanting to explore more environments with their groups - lakes, rivers and estuaries.
This award will allow you to lead groups of up to six mixed craft (kayaks, canoes and SUPs) from your SUP on Inland Open water and on rivers with short sections of grade 2 rapids.
